Short version: our website and our games do not collect personal data about you. We have no analytics, no ads, no trackers, no accounts and no forms. This page explains the few cases where data is still processed, and also serves as the information notice required by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1Who is responsible
The data controller is Wazang Games (Burak Kaan Şahin), an independent game studio based in Türkiye. You can reach us about anything on this page at [email protected].
2What we do not do
- No analytics or visitor statistics, on the website or in our games
- No advertising, tracking pixels or profiling
- No user accounts, sign-up or contact forms on the website
- No selling or sharing of personal data
3Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply and to handle your request.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, and taking steps you asked for (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after the conversation ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
4Technical access logs
Like every website, ours runs on a server. Our website is hosted by Ethernet Servers on servers located outside Türkiye, so this technical data is processed abroad. The hosting provider may automatically record technical access data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest; KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use these logs to identify visitors, and the hosting provider keeps them only for a short period for security purposes.
5Videos from YouTube
Some pages show a trailer. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded from YouTube (Google) in privacy-enhanced mode, and Google then processes data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy, which may include transfers outside Türkiye and the EU. Pressing play is your choice; if you prefer, you can watch the trailer directly on Steam or YouTube.
6Our games and Steam
Our games do not collect, store or send personal data to us. Our games are sold and run through Steam. Purchases, your Steam account, and online features such as multiplayer are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy; we do not receive that data.
7Links to other services
Our site links to Steam, Discord, YouTube and social media. These links only open the other service; its own privacy policy applies once you are there.
8Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child has emailed us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
9Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR you can ask us whether we process your data, get a copy of it, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, learn who it was shared with, and object to any decision made solely by automated means (we make none). You can also ask for compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Email your request to [email protected]. We reply free of charge within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
10Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also announced on the site.
